Xingyao Chen

Xingyao Chen is the Manager, Data Science at the Ellison Medical Institute. At the Institute, Xingyao supports the development of her team’s machine learning infrastructure and builds models that improve cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Xingyao received her BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College. Before joining the Institute, she worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Yelp and previously held internships at The Jackson Laboratory, where she conducted research in pediatric brain cancer.

In her free time, she loves to run, take dance classes, and try out new boba shops.
