Virginia Basso

Virginia Basso is the Senior Manager, Program Management at the Ellison Medical Institute. With experience as both a consultant project manager and scientist, she has led cross‑functional programs across discovery, preclinical, and clinical development.

She earned her PhD in Microbiology from the Pasteur Institute and completed postdoctoral training at USC.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and attending metal and rock concerts.
