Shiva Patre, MS

Shiva Patre is an AI Research Engineer at the Ellison Medical Institute. In his role, he is dedicated to working on AI/Machine learning pipelines to help improve patient treatment.

Shiva is very enthusiastic about AI and Machine Learning technologies and their immense potential at solving real-world problems. Before joining the Institute, Shiva worked as a Software Engineer at a growing technology startup in Los Angeles, interned at Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences within the R&D Software Development, and was an alumni of the esteemed Academy Gold program.

Shiva has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (MS), specialized in Multimedia and Creative Technologies, from USC. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling to interesting places, exploring different cuisines and amazing SoCal sunsets on beaches.
