Sammay Azhand

Sammay Azhand is the Senior Lab Manager at the Ellison Medical Institute.

Previously, he worked at Atlas Genomics where he set up multiple mobile laboratories from the ground up, while also managing and providing support for several of the sites. These laboratories spanned all over the country, including but not limited to Richmond, New Orleans, Miami, and Los Angeles.

Sammay is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where he majored in General Biology.

In his free time, Sammay enjoys cooking and enjoying a meal with his loved ones, exploring the great outdoors, and playing basketball.
