Rehan Chinoy

AI Research Engineer

Rehan Chinoy is the AI Research Engineer, Drug Discovery, at the Ellison Medical Institute. In his role, he uses AI to help improve cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Before joining the Institute, Rehan worked at an AI startup called Tesorai, developing an AI model for identifying and quantifying proteins from mass-spectrometry data. Prior to that, he worked at a drug discovery company called Frontier Medicines, advancing their precision oncology therapeutics using AI tools.

Rehan graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Neuroscience. Outside of work, he enjoys playing semi-professional soccer, reading narrative nonfiction, and making cortados with his espresso machine at home.
