Melissa Melgoza

Mel Melgoza is the Executive Assistant to Dr. David Agus. With a dynamic background, Mel has made significant contributions to influential organizations. 

Prior to joining the Ellison Medical Institute, she was Executive Assistant at Proxima Media and Triller where she supported entertainment executive Ryan Kavanaugh. In this role, Mel fostered collaboration throughout the entire company, engaging with executives, overseeing the operations of his portfolio of companies, and providing invaluable support on special projects. She also played an important role in fostering relationships with investors, artists, influencers, and athletes. Before her time at Proxima and Triller, Mel was a legal assistant at an Immigration Law Firm, making a meaningful impact in people’s lives by helping them with employment-based and family-based green card processes.

Mel graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, cooking, practicing Pilates, and prioritizing her personal well-being.
