Katrina Barron

Katrina Barron is the Director, Foundation and Engagement at the Ellison Medical Institute. In this role, she oversees the Institute’s multi-faceted foundation operations and its communications and branding initiatives.

She was most recently part of the development team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where she handled stewardship strategies across all clinical, patient, and research areas. Prior to this, she was part of the advancement team at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was the Associate Director of Development for scholarships.

She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. A Pasadena native, Katrina enjoys hiking Griffith Park, finding new podcasts, and spending time with her family.
