Carly Strelez, PhD

Carly Strelez is the Manager, Pre-Clinical Models at the Ellison Medical Institute. In her role, she works on an organ-on-chip model of colorectal cancer to understand how the tumor microenvironment influences early metastatic spread.

Dr. Strelez received her BS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Neuroscience at Gettysburg College and her PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Southern California. Outside of the lab, she enjoys being active outdoors or trying a new happy hour spot.
