Benjamin Marquez

Benjamin Marquez is the Security Lead at the Ellison Medical Institute. In his role, he supports the Senior Manager, Security by helping lead daily security operations.

Benjamin brings years of experience in security, customer service management, and executive protection, including work with Gavin de Becker & Associates providing personal protection for high-profile and high-risk clients. His background in executive protection includes natural disaster response during the Los Angeles Palisades fires, where he supported client safety through rapid decision-making, coordination, and adaptable solutions in dynamic, high-risk environments. Prior to this, Benjamin worked in customer service management and corporate security, providing exceptional levels of customer service as well as safeguarding assets valued at several million dollars.

Benjamin graduated with his bachelor’s degree in religious studies. He has also completed extensive security training with Gavin de Becker’s Executive Protection Academy, which includes high-stress, scenario-based training and critical emergency responses.

In his free time, Benjamin enjoys backpacking with his friends, spending time with his family, and working on cars.
