Andrey Andreev, PhD

Andrey Andreev is the Systems Integration Engineer at the Ellison Medical Institute, where he uses a wide range of skills to improve imaging experiments, design new experimental setups, and help with data processing. His focus is combining different hardware devices and software pipeline to improve current processes for research and experimentation.

Previously, Andrey built and supported custom fluorescent imaging system to understand the effects of sleep on whole-brain neural activity using a zebrafish model system at Caltech.

Andrey earned his PhD in the lab of Prof. Scott Frasier at the University of Southern California under the supervision of Dr. Thai Truong.
