Emma Fong, PhD

Emma Fong is a Research Scientist at the Ellison Medical Institute, where she is developing an imaging platform to look at metabolic changes in patient-derived colorectal cancer organoids in response to stromal cells and therapies.

Dr. Fong holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego and a MS and PhD in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering from UC Irvine. Outside of work, Dr. Fong enjoys watching movies, cooking and exploring downtown Los Angeles.
