Arely Gil

Arely Gil is a Research Lab Technician II at the Ellison Medical Institute. As an intern at EMI, she was part of the Drug Discovery team, where she worked with small drug molecules for prostate cancer. In her current role, she is involved in liver tissue assays and organoid models for breast cancer.

Arely received her BS in Biology from the University of Southern California. In her free time, she likes to listen to Brazilian funk and Afrobeats, attempt to learn new languages, read about different faith traditions, and go on pilgrimages.
