Sonia Nijampatnam, PhD

Sonia Nijampatnam is the Head of Partnerships and Program Management at the Ellison Medical Institute.

After completing a PhD in medicinal chemistry and post-doctoral training at Emory University, Sonia has spent the last ten years in pharmaceutical drug development with increasing program management responsibilities at Eli Lilly, Amgen, and a mid-sized biotech company, Fibrogen.

In her free time, Sonia enjoys cooking, teaching cycle classes, and exploring different hiking trails across various national parks.
